Hey, WordPress fans! 👋 I’ve been working with WordPress since 2006, and I still find little gems that make life easier. One of my favorites? The Quick Edit feature.
Why It’s Useful
Quick Edit lets you make fast changes to post details without opening the full editor. It’s a time-saver, especially when updating multiple posts.
Real-World Example
Let’s say you’re managing a blog and realize you forgot to add categories to ten different posts. Instead of opening each one, you can use Quick Edit to fix them in seconds.
How to Access It
- Go to Posts (or Pages) in your WordPress Dashboard.
- Hover over a post title.
- Click Quick Edit.
- Update details like title, slug, category, tags, or publish date.
- Hit Update—and you’re done!
Next time you need to make a quick fix, skip the full editor and try Quick Edit instead!
